Admissions Portal CDL Landing page message
Utility employers nationwide are increasingly requiring new employees to have a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL). At NLC, we aim to create the most employable graduates possible. That’s why we’re offering in-house Class A CDL training as an optional course to help you achieve this goal.
Why is this important? A valid Class A CDL is required for graduation. Our optional course, CDL 1009, is the best way to help you seamlessly meet this graduation requirement.
Prerequisites: All students must obtain a commercial learner’s permit (CLP) before taking this course.
Next Steps: Please review the CDL policies, requirements, and costs for the specific campus you wish to attend in NLC’s Electrical Lineworker Program catalogs.
For additional questions and next steps to obtain your CDL, reach out the CDL contacts below.
